About Alan McSmith
After more than three decades as a wilderness and wildlife guide, one thing is certain: wilderness is no longer a place, but a way of life. And as one of Africa’s most remarkable guides, Alan remains as committed as ever to sharing meaningful, empathetic and impactful encounters.

Its natural habitat includes some of the most iconic wilderness areas in Africa, ranging from the Okavango Delta, Kalahari and Makgadikgadi in Botswana, the Namib Desert and the Skeleton Coast in Namibia, the Lower Zambezi and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, the Kruger Lowlands in South Africa, the Luangwa Valley in Zambia to the Zakouma National Park in Chad. And everything in between.

Alan is an established speaker at impact events and TEDx, and has traveled extensively promoting leadership and conservation at various European forums. And then there are the elephants. Alan is a passionate elephant curator, and is known for his extensive knowledge of these special animals. He continually strives to raise awareness about elephants. For Alan, it’s all about elephants first and foremost. He is recognized as one of Africa’s leading specialist elephant guides.

About FR-NK – Frank Rekers -:
FR-NK is a very experienced and driven trainer and coach. His specializations are leadership development, team development and the form of communication dialogue. FR-NK is a former mariner, has more than 25 years of entrepreneurial experience, rowed from Rotterdam to London and wrote the book ‘From Dream to Reality’ about it, delved into cultures, the power of core values ​​and leadership. Due to his in-depth research and meetings in South Africa, he is seen as the expert on Nelson Mandela’s leadership lessons, the Ubuntu philosophy “I am because WE are” and as an expert on dialogue with the Talking Stick. He makes the connection between these cultures, leadership styles and his personal experiences.
